Wall Head Planter
About the event
You are invited to join ceramicist Anna Donovan at Conway Mill to spend a day making a wall mounted head into which a plant can be homed. You will be using stoneware clay so suitable to be placed outdoors.
Using a press mould of a generic form of a human face each piece is added to and manipulated by the participant to create a unique character. For inspiration a variety of images will be made available, or we can just make faces at each other.
Coloured slips will be provided, and Anna will discuss firings and a possible additional glazing session if requested.
Teas, coffees water and nibbles provided.
Please bring a packed lunch.
