Are you good with people, curious about local history or talented with a camera?If you have time, skills or knowledge why not join the Linen Biennale as a Flax Friend?
The Linen Biennale 2023 runs over three months in multiple locations across Northern Ireland. They are currently building a community of volunteers over the course of the biennale to help provide some practical support at the events taking place. If you think you could spare a little time over the next couple of months, they would love to hear from you.You’ll be joining like-minded folk, passionate about heritage, crafts and community pride. You can gain practical and organisational skills, and at the end of the biennale they will be organising a special gathering for all flax friends at The Linen Rooms, R-Space in Lisburn.
