Cockpit Awards & Bursaries for Craftspeople

Calling all makers! Applications are now open for 6 Cockpit Awards & Bursaries. An Award or Bursary at Cockpit includes studio space in London, as well as business support and membership of a vibrant craft community, giving you the space and time to develop your business or practice.  See the full list below.

 

1. The ALMAW Award supports a skilled maker working in wood or textiles.
2. The Arts Society GLA Bursary is open to makers working with traditional skills.
3. The Basketmakers’ Award is designed to help start-up basketmakers.
4. The Broderers’ Award is for a maker that has technical skills in hand embroidery.
5. The Glass Sellers’ Bursary offers a bursary for a craftsperson working in warm or cold glass.
6. The Turners’ Award is designed for aspiring or established turners.
