Thomas Goldsmiths

The Thomas Goldsmith story started with David Thomas, Proprietor & Master Goldsmith. David began his studies at The Royal College of Art and his work is on permanent display at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Now much of his time is spent executing private commissions in precious metals and stones. However, the Thomas look is accessible to all as this bespoke service is complimented by the in house range, including work from innovative designers from around the world .

The on-site workshop is fully staffed and your jewellery can be created at your request to your own design. We also offer a repairs service and all repairs are done quickly and to a high standard, including professional cleaning, polishing and plating as well as expert advice and valuations.

Thomas Goldsmiths provides a bespoke service for customers enabling them to design their own pieces. Perhaps an engagement ring, a special commemorative gift or simply a personal design. Using either new materials or metal from the customers own unworn pieces. Our bespoke service also includes remodels, turning a previously loved piece into a new piece retaining the sentimental value. Jewellery repairs are carried out to an extremely high level of craftsmanship in our fully equipped workshop.

Thomas Goldsmiths currently stock two in-house collections by our talented Goldsmiths Lynn Harris & David Thomas.
Lynn has an eye for detail, crafting beautiful fluid sculptural pieces which is evident in her 'Pod' and 'Twist' collections. There is a delicate beauty in the organic growth of her 'Pod' collection and the 'Twist' design highlights the graceful movements in nature.

David's work is strongly function/form based, inspired by fine stones in unusual cuts and colours, creating totally unique jewellery pieces. His work combines elegance, femininity and flamboyance in an utterly effortless way.
