Top Floor Art Studio Group
The Top Floor Art Studio Group is an arts collective dedicated to supporting local communities by sharing their creative skills and encouraging traditional textile techniques.
The group has also been involved - whether individual members or as a group - in facilitating and training in new skills, including Dyeing and Natural Dyeing Days which are open to interested members of the public by invitation.
Their community engagement includes projects with Lagan Navigation Trust 'Waterway Storymaking Festival' – linen panels, 2019; Glebe House workshops, Artsekta project work, Processions 2018, Get Creative Creatathon (2016, 2017, 2018), The Big Sock, 2018 and WWKIPD 2015. In addition, many in the group share their skills through workshops and demonstrations on an individual basis.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the textile studio at Top Floor Art where studio hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns and silks are available for sale alongside a range of vintage and new haberdashery and creativity packs and craft kits. A selection of our members work is also available to view and buy.
