Cyber Security Webinar
21 September 2022
Deadline: October 31, 2022
Taking place online on Monday 31st October from 12 noon-1pm, Arts and Business Scotland have released the following webinar on Cyber Security.
About the session:
There has been a significant increase in cyber attacks across all sectors and the attacks themselves are more sophisticated than ever. It is important for all organisations to be aware of the threats and the simple steps that could be taken to minimise the risk of financial loss that do not require technical expertise but can be learned at a business briefing. We will cover:
- What are hackers doing – real life examples of email compromise and the damage it can cause
- A brief overview of what help you can obtain should the worst happen
- And the non-technical steps you can take to avoid being a victim
Price: £35+VAT

This Business Briefing will be delivered by Laura Irvine, a lawyer and data protection specialist from Davidson Chalmers Stewart LLP. Laura is passionate about data protection, privacy and information and advises on cyber security law. She is a former director of the Scottish Business Resilience Centre and still works with them in relation to cyber issues.
