Farfield Mill Textile Competition – Celebrating Wool

The theme of the competition will be ‘Celebrating Wool’ and may be interpreted in any way that you wish; take inspiration from the heritage of the British wool industry, be inspired by the landscape where sheep graze, or use wool in your creation, you are free to explore the theme in any form of textile art.

All textile art techniques are accepted but the final piece must consist of at least 75% textiles.

The creation must be original or mention the source of inspiration, without infringing copyright. The work must be recent (less than a year old) and must never have been exhibited at a public event before.

1st Prize: £750
2nd Prize: £500
People’s Choice: £250
