Blowfish Glass Gallery is partnering with the International Festival of Glass to deliver a new varied programme of events during August 2024.

They are looking for 30 glass artists to showcase their creations at the Blowfish Glass Gallery in Stourbridge from August 23, 2024, to September 23, 2024. The challenge is to create a unique piece of glass art no larger than 15cm³.

Submissions are encouraged across all glass processes, from Flameworking and Hot Sculpting to Pâte-de-Verre and Stained Glass. This compact format encourages an exciting opportunity to experiment with new ideas and techniques to push the limits of your artistic vision.

Fifteen x Fifteen marks Blowfish’s founding role in the new Glass Legacy Association Stourbridge (GLAS). Alongside the exhibition, the gallery will host an opening event featuring demonstrations by ten renowned glass artists.

This exhibition provides a fantastic opportunity to display your artwork in a historic setting at Blowfish Glass Gallery, located within the Red House Glass Cone units. They anticipate a large number of visitors during the opening event, which coincides with the International Festival of Glass 2024.
