Garden Show Ireland Craft NI Craft Village Call-Out
20 March 2024
Deadline: April 1, 2024
Craft NI is delighted to partner with Antrim & Newtownabbey Council and Garden Show Ireland for a second time to bring contemporary local craft makers to this annual outdoor celebration of plants and gardens.
We are working with the Council and GSI to provide the Craft Village in the show, and we are now inviting applications from makers to sell and/or provide craft demonstrations onsite.
Tell me about Garden Show Ireland:
An annual event in the beautiful Antrim Castle Gardens, all participants will benefit from significant event promotion from the organisers, Antrim & Newtownabbey Council and Craft NI.
This is a ticketed event with selling plants and associated relevant goods along with a lively programme of demos, masterclasses and artisan foods. Since its relocation to Antrim Castle Gardens the Show has been attracting around 25000 visitors over the three day event. The Craft Pavilion will be a destination within the overall show.
Follow the document below for more information regarding stall fees, set up and 2023 feedback.
Makers wishing to apply to provide a demonstration:
We are inviting applications from makers or small groups of makers to provide craft demonstrations that are suitable for an outdoor environment and would be of interest to visitors to Garden Show Ireland. These were a great success in 2023 with some makers valuing the further connections they made. In 2024, we’d also be interested in applications from makers whose demonstration have a participatory element.
