London Craft Week NI Talent

London Craft Week on 4 to 10 October features some home-grown NI talent alongside an international line up, with the option to catch some of it online.

Iconic furnisher retailer, twentytwentyone who this year celebrate their 25th anniversary is hosting Mario Sierra of Mourne Textiles, who has transported their eighty year old Douglas Andrew Loom to Upper Street, for a weekend of hand weaving demonstrations: 12-3pm on 9 and 10 October.

 

Design Nation is presenting a digital-only exhibition, through original film and a talks programme, all free and accessible here.

Their Multi-Talenteexhibition features 25 selected makers and presents new work created over the past 18 months that celebrates the stories and their outstanding work. This 28 minute film includes makers from right across the UK, including NI designer Rachel Fitzpatrick.
