I am based in the picturesque Donegal village of Ramelton, where I've worked as a textile artist for many years in a studio in my garden. I specialise in hand painted silk which I use to make colourful pieces for the home especially lighting and lampshades. My work is inspired by the flora, fauna and beautiful landscapes around me in County Donegal. I love to work in bold and vibrant colours which are reflected in my colourful garden design which is my other passion.

Bio
Originally from the Potteries in England where my grandmother, a skilled artist, introduced me to a wide variety of crafts which I still use including embroidery and sewing
After studying psychology at Edinburgh University, I used art and crafts in my work in many different settings and in 2010 I settled in Ramelton, Co Donegal and established kokodesigns studio.
Fortunately in recent years I’ve been able to pass on my skills by facilitating workshops in the community.

I sell my work from my own website, in selected retail outlets throughout Ireland and the UK and from my studio in Ramelton, Co Donegal.
