All craft work is unique. Kathleen’s aspiration is that all her work is unique and reflective of the makers skill. There are three unique areas of craft involved, the linking factor is that subtle blending of colour on silk, the matching of textured fabric and the texture and stitching of textile are.

The handbags are produced with meticulous attention to design and detail.

Fabric, locally sourced whenever possible, is put together with care and attention which is evident when you see the finished product. The fascination with colour has led Kathleen to producing hand-painted silk scarves showing a wide range of design of materials ranging from Georgette to Twill, crepe de and the luxury silk velvet. Inspiration for colour is only a step away from an extensive garden which provides a multitute of colours, textures and shapes. Kathleen textile art includes a range of fabric pictures with added stitch to enhance the design.
