Kerrie Hanna

Bio

Kerrie Hanna’s work explores the interplay of light, vitality and energy through various mediums, often she works with illustration, street art and stained glass.

The line between figuration and abstraction becomes blurred in an exploration of intense colour, unusual perspective, and psychological depth, where the boundaries of ‘self’ and ‘other’ begin to fall away. In representing this liminal space with elements of abstraction, the world feels filled with potential for fluidity and change.

This perspective lends itself well to co-creation principles, Kerrie often works in collaboration and in community arts, where storytelling, imagination and memory work together to weave each person’s narrative and sense of belonging.
