Apply now for New Glass Review – an annual exhibition in print that showcases 100 works in glass.
A flagship publication of The Corning Museum of Glass, New Glass Review grew out of a groundbreaking 1975 meeting with early leaders of Studio Glass who saw that a thriving field required a place of encounter, a place to discover the work of other artists, designers, collectors, museums, and enthusiasts.
Every year, the Museum launches a call for entries and anyone from a beginning student to an established artist can submit their work.
Most years, the Museum receives around 1000 submissions from artists, designers, and organizations in more than 50 countries. These submissions are reviewed by a panel of curators, scholars, and artists, led by the Museum’s curator of postwar and contemporary glass or a guest curator. 100 images are ultimately selected for publication.
Specifications
- Open to works made between January 2023 and January 2024 using glass including video works in which glass plays a fundamental role and video documentation of performances using glass.
- Please apply only once. If you are an organization submitting works by different artists, you must use separate emails for each submission.
- If you already have a SlideRoom account, you must update your account address to one where you can receive mail in 2024.
Image Requirements
- Enter titles exactly as they should appear in the publication. (SlideRoom auto populates this field with the file name, so make sure to change it!)
- File types accepted: gif, jpg, png, or tif
- File size: less than 10 mb; at least 5 x 7 inches at 300 dpi (1500 x 2100 pixels). Larger is appreciated!
Video Requirements
Submit video only if your work is video art or performance documentation. Do not submit video that documents static objects. If your video is selected, stills will be printed in New Glass Review. The video may be made available online one year after the publication is released.

- File size: less than 500 mb. We will only watch 30 seconds during the selection process.
