The R-Space Gallery have released an open call for their upcoming exhibition as part of their Materials, Messages and Meaning series.
Eligibility
Artists and Makers whose work responds to the theme ‘Transition’ are invited to apply.
Applicants must be based in Northern Ireland, at any stage of their career, working in any media.
Theme: Transition
Transition is the process in which something changes from one state to another, change, passing, development, shift.
Now in their 12th year, this group exhibition will explore artists’ and makers’ different approaches to the materials they choose to work with and why. The messages and meaning they wish to convey using those aterials, what those messages are and the methods of production and process they use to make the work.
To submit
- Send a CV and Artist Statement including an explanation on how the theme ‘Transition’ fits into your work. (Ensure documents are no longer than one side A4 each)
- Include 4 high resolution images of your work. Label work including name, title, dimension and medium. Please consider gallery dimensions when submitting work.

Exhibition dates: 11th November – 8th December
