Rescue mission: which endangered crafts should we save?

20 January 2022

Deadline: January 24, 2022

To launch their first issue of 2022, the Crafts Council is hosting a digital discussion that asks which making traditions form an essential part of our collective heritage and what criteria this should be judged on? And what lessons can traditional making practices teach us for the future?

Join the discussion from 5.30-6.45pm on Monday 24th January to hear opinions from an international panel of makers and experts including Robin Wood, co-founder of the Heritage Crafts Association; glass and neon artist Katherine Huskie, furniture designer Gareth Neal and architect and designer Dima Srouji. This talk will be chaired by Crafts editor Malaika Byng.

Make sure to register your place at this event.
