Save the Craft and Design Courses at Edinburgh College of Art!

The University of Edinburgh recently announced their decision to close three highly successful undergraduate programmes at ECA: Jewellery and Silversmithing, Textiles and Performance Costume.

These courses represent the remainder of ECA’s undergraduate degrees in craft disciplines and teach vital making skills, alongside nurturing creative imagination and design expertise.

Craft Scotland have launched a petition to help capture the support flooding in from across the UK and around the world. We plan to share this petition with the Scottish Government, politicians, and university decision makers to help fuel a reversal of these closures.
