Tackling Textiles: Skills and Innovation Fund

Tackling Textiles, a new skills and innovation fund is now open for applications, following a successful pilot in 2022 where five different projects were supported.

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful is administering the fund provided by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) to explore ways to reduce the environmental impacts of textiles. They are looking for ideas that support tackling textile waste through waste prevention, reuse, repair and reimagine.

Funding of between £500 and £2,500 is available to support small and medium sized enterprise, social enterprises, charities, not for profit groups and community and voluntary groups to develop your ideas.
