The Elephant Trust supports artists to undertake and complete projects when frustrated by lack of funds. The Trustees’ main objective is to support new work.
Grants are usually limited to £2,000, but with the recent addition of the Shelagh Wakely Bequest, larger grants of up to £5,000 may be awarded.

The next round opens on 18 December 2025, with a deadline of 18 January 2026.
Applications must be submitted by midnight on the deadline date.
