The Impact of GPSR on Visual Artists and Craft Makers in Northern Ireland

30 January 2025

Deadline: February 18, 2025

Join export advisor Andrea Collins of Global Trade Department for a webinar exploring the impact of the European Union’s General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) on visual artists and craft makers in Northern Ireland.

This event is presented by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Craft NI. GPSR introduces new obligations for businesses selling products within the EU, bringing changes to the way in which we record safety information about work that is made for sale.

Join Andrea Collins on the 18th February as she guides you through the principles of GPSR and what it means for creative business owners, specifically in Northern Ireland. Andrea Collins is an international trade specialist with over 25 years of experience and founder of The Export Department which helps to support UK SMEs in expanding internationally.

Key topics will include:

· GPSR regulations and their specific implications for Northern Ireland-based businesses.

· The impact on suppliers of raw materials and those selling outside of Northern Ireland.

· Best practices for ensuring compliance with GPSR requirements.

This webinar will be recorded. However, attending live allows you to participate in the Q&A session with Andrea. If you can’t join on the day, feel free to send your questions in advance to info@craftni.org. Don’t miss this opportunity to stay informed and prepared for these regulatory changes!

Taking place on Feb 18, 2025 10:00 over Zoom.
