Third generation silversmith takes gold

Congratulations to Caitlin Murphy who recently won a gold award in the Make Your Mark competition with The Goldsmiths’ Company.

Entrants were invited to design an item of jewellery, smallwork or silverware that promoted, enhanced and celebrated the London Hallmark and we’re delighted that Caitlin’s winning design impressed the judging panel. Her series of five silver shots represented the five different components of the hallmark itself.

Caitlin is still studying, but looks set to carry on the family legacy with some style. Watch this space!
