Visual Artists Ireland have a series of sessions coming up including the following:

Social Welfare for Visual Artists NI (5 April), Aisling Doran from the Community Advice Service, formerly Citizen’s Advice, will give an update and be at hand to speak about any questions you may have about Social Welfare entitlements, e.g., Health, Pensions etc.

Tax Advice for Artists in Northern Ireland (10th April), following on from a recent webinar on tax advice for artists in NI, Louise Gorman from Balanced Business Solutions will be going into more detail on advice for submitting your self assessment form and going over tips for managing your tax queries.

This is an in-person event where Louise will walk you through the actual self assessment return at the VAI office on Royal Avenue, Belfast.

Curator talk with Valeria Ceregini, online (30th April), Valeria Ceregini is an Italian Irish-based art historian and visual arts curator with an international practice working across disciplines with artists from various media.
