Open to artists worldwide, Wells Art Contemporary gives you the unique opportunity to show your work in Wells Cathedral, England’s first gothic cathedral.

 

Entries are welcome in any media, including, but not limited to: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, textile, clay, metal, video, photography, and more.

 

As well as being seen by around 30,000 visitors per month, your work can also win incredible prizes including mentoring, £2,000 in cash, and the NG Art Creative Residency.

 

All entries will be considered by a prestigious panel of selectors, and artists will have the chance to win a wide range of prizes, including cash awards, residencies, mentoring, and more. Work may also be offered for sale during the exhibition. The exhibition will run from 10 October to 7 November 2026.
