The Wirksworth Festival Art Trail are open for applications. Taking place on the 9th and 10th of September 2023, Wirksworth, based in Derbyshire hosts over 100 artists and receives over 4,000 visitors.
The exhibition spaces are in a range of buildings throughout Derbyshire, and the trail focuses on giving artists and creatives a chance to meet customers face-to-face, talk about your practice, make sales and build new relationships.
Applications are welcomed from contemporary artists and makers of any discipline (which are suitable for display in venues provided).
The trail also has two ‘Makers Markets’ which offer table top stalls suitable for smaller work e.g. jewellery, ceramics, textiles, glass etc.
There is also an opportunity to apply to be an artist in residence, creating a new body of work for the festival.
