Associated with the ‘Wool Works’ exhibition (now open at Craft NI Gallery until August 5th) and also part of the Creative Peninsula programme, this full day workshop will focus on how to make a unique felt vessel in Irish wool with optional yarn decoration. Students will learn the basics of feltmaking using multi resists using local and sustainable products. The workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced feltmakers alike.
Students will be contacted prior to the workshop with information on the equipment they need to bring along – nothing special, they will have the required bits and bobs at home.
Please note: Materials, tea and coffee will be included in the cost of the workshop but please bring a packed lunch.
