DCCI has announced the Future Makers Shortlist for 2021.
Future Makers is a Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) initiative which recognises talent, potential and creativity.
It is the qualifying competition for the annual RDS Craft Awards, which provides 5 x €10,000 awards to makers at a formative stage in their careers.
The 2021 Shortlist has Emerging Makers and Student & Recent Graduates categories and we’re delighted to see UU Graduate Joel Smyth shortlisted in the second category.
Joel won an Emerging Maker award in our RE-New Exhibition during August Craft Month 2021 and it’s great to see his work recognised futher afield.
