Crafting the Future: A study into the Resilience of the Craft Sector

7 August 2023

Deadline: August 31, 2023

The World Crafts Council Europe are completing ‘A Study into the Resilience of the Craft Sector in Europe’, the second in the series of Crafting the Future studies.

They are undertaking a number of research activities including a questionnaire (which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete) and is open until the end of August.

The World Crafts Council Europe would love to hear from craft makers – anyone hand making, exhibiting and selling craft items or delivering craft related services such as teaching. They also want to hear from people within organisations and businesses in craft including galleries, retailers, event organisers, academics, trainers, consultants, associations and foundations, and are particularly keen to hear from people working in remote, rural and island communities.

You can find an overview of the project below.

You can find the survey here.
