Ceramic tiles workshop

Eleanor Wheeler is known for her architectural and sculptural ceramics. During her exhibition at Island Arts Centre take this opportunity to work with her as you create your own set of tiles.
Take inspiration from Eleanor’s work on show as she guides you in the use of stoneware clay along with oxides and decorating slips. Influenced by nature, and in particular plants and flowers, you will create a design, a repeatable pattern that you can then apply to the clay. Your composite set of four small tiles will then be fired for collection at a later date.
