Participants will design and assemble a commemorative crown sun-catcher and coaster – fit for a King or Queen – inspired by the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. Participants will learn how to cut and assemble glass in a number of forms (sheet glass, frit, stringers and confetti). The glass pieces can be free-standing, hanging, framed or put on a stand after firing in Flowerfield Art Centre’s Kiln. Fired pieces can be collected one week after the workshop.
