Intro to linocut

Linocut is an artform that can be as simple or as intricate as you can dream and combines well with other mediums. But first, you have to learn the basics!
In this class, participants will learn about the basic tools, materials, and methods used from the types of mediums they can carve into, different kinds of inks, and different printing methods. They will then be trying their hand at making their own piece, then spend some time practicing different cuts before choosing a subject to carve and print.
