Slow stitch series | Folk art applique

19 October @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm

£35

For sewers or complete beginners, this 2 day workshop will provide the opportunity to explore the many different appliqué techniques: hand-tucked, raw-edged, reverse and decoupage style, hand-stitched, machined and fused. With its colourful, stylised motifs of flowers, birds, animals and trees, folk art gives plenty of opportunity to create unique and personal textile collages, that can be hung or made into a bag or cushion.

All materials are provided. Please note, the event will take place on October 19th and November 2nd, 10:30 to 1pm.
