Corinne Price will be running a nerikomi workshop at Craft NI Gallery, Belfast during Fleadh week!

The event will take place from 10.30am until 12.30pm on Saturday, August 8^th. Anyone who knows Corinne’s work will know the vibrance achievable with this technique – something she is looking forward to sharing!

This is an opportunity for anyone with an interest in nerikomi to try their hands without getting them dirty. Nerikomi is a traditional hand building Japanese technique of forming patterns with coloured clay which can be used to create any number of different designs – and the colours will be ready-mixed.

In this small and relaxed workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of making a nerikomi pattern cane and then turn it into a small functional dish to take home. All of the tools and materials will be provided, and Corinne will be on hand to help.

No prior experience necessary. The firing of up to two dishes included in the price. Tea and coffee provided.
