Ever wondered how pottery was made thousands of years ago? Join antiquarian and potter John Martin at North Down Museum on Tuesday 22 September for a fascinating talk exploring the craft and creativity of prehistoric pottery. Drawing on archaeological reports and traditional materials, John recreates Neolithic and Early Bronze Age vessels from Ulster, demonstrating the techniques and skills used by their original makers.
Through hand-building replica pots, he brings this ancient craft to life and offers fresh insights into our prehistoric past.
