Join tutor Alison Pascoe in her studio to make two origami gift boxes.

Participants will learn an origami technique using 300gsm card to construct two boxes with lids (one approximately 11cm x 5cm, the other 9cm x 4cm) sturdy enough to be given, received, and used again and again. Then, participants will create surface pattern using a selection of coloured card and decorative paper, along with stamping, pens and coloured pencils. The final touches will be to create delicate ruffs and bows with simplified passementerie techniques from a selection of yarns, paper and decorative ribbon.

No experience required is required and all materials are provided.
