Join Karen Hamilton for her Artist Talk on September 17 at 7:30 pm at Ards Arts Centre as she discusses her exhibition In Search of Light.
Karen will share the journey of her undergraduate degree, a personal and artistic quest to communicate light through woven textiles. She will discuss her recent collaboration with Dr Jonathan Kennedy to translate the wavelengths of the visible light spectrum as an accurate scientific representation, and new experimental weavings capturing the fluid energy of light.
The Artist Talk will take place on 17 September from 7.30-8.30pm; the exhibition will be open until 19 September. Please check the Ards Arts Centre website for the opening hours.
