Experimental weaving with Cecilia Stephens

Associated with the ‘Wool Works’ exhibition which opens at Craft NI Gallery on July 7, this workshop with textile artist and weaver Cecilia Stephens will be a unique opportunity to learn about and try your hand at weaving.  In this full day workshop, using a range of fibres, yarns, paper and other natural materials, you will create experimental weaves using small handmade rustic looms to be provided.

 

Please note: you will need to bring your own lunch; tea and coffee will be provided. All materials will be supplied although participants are encouraged to also bring their own.

 

Equipment:

Please bring scissors.

Participants: maximum 8 (Not suitable for under 16)
