Glassmaking: Shamrock, Rose & Thistle

Participants will design and assemble a commemorative glass piece inspired by Her Majesty’s Robe of Estate. Participants will learn how to cut and assemble glass in a number of forms (sheet glass, frit, stringers and confetti). The glass piece can be free-standing, hanging, framed or put on a stand after firing in Flowerfield Art Centre’s Kiln Studio. Fired pieces can be collected one week after the workshop.

Please note: Wwear close-toed shoes for safety. Tutor: Eleanor-Jane McCartney
