Porcelain slipcasting

25 May @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join local ceramicists Rebecca Killen and Laureanne Kootstra for a masterclass exploring the creative process of slip casting.

During this workshop you will have the opportunity to work with porcelain casting slip, a selection of plaster moulds and coloured porcelain. You will also learn about refining your cast pieces and how to apply surface decoration.

We will fire three of your cast porcelain pieces ready to be collected from The Ash Gallery in 2-3 weeks.

*Tea, coffee and vegetarian lunch from our neighbours at Birch all included in cost of workshop. Please let organisers know of any dietary requirements.

*All materials and firings included in cost of workshop.
