Associated with the ‘Wool Works’ exhibition (now open at Craft NI Gallery until August 5th) and also part of the Creative Peninsula programme, this full day workshop will explore eco print pattern and colour achieved from a variety of garden foraged flowers and leaves. Creating designs on fabric and paper making a small book for your personal musing. All materials will be supplied, including paper and fabric, threads and embellishments. Please note: this workshop is hosted by Prof. Jane McCann and will take place in Landsend, Donaghadee.
Equipment:
Please bring – scissors, pins, needles, rusty objects and string – (any of your own flowers welcome and haberdashery odds and ends – optional)
Materials and tea and coffee will be provided in the cost of the workshop but please bring a packed lunch. Students will be contacted prior to the workshop with information on the equipment they need to bring along – nothing special, they will have the required bits and bobs at home.
