£55

During this 3 hour workshop, you will learn the art of 3D needle felting with textile artist Claire McDowell of Bad Bird Craft. Suitable for  both beginners and those with some experience of felt work, you will go through all the basics of felting carded wool to create a soft sculpture of a hare; participants will learn how to create a basic wire armature and how to sculpt their 3D sitting hare using a combination of different tones of wool.

The little hare will be finished off with glass amber eyes and a tiny dried flower and ribbon wreath.

All materials and tools for this project will be supplied. Refreshments will also be available throughout the workshop.
