Heritage Craft Awards

The Heritage Crafts Awards celebrate and highlight the traditional living crafts made in the UK that contribute to our national heritage, such as silversmithing, dressmaking and tailoring, upholstery, weaving, leatherworking, metalworking, stained glass, green woodworking, embroidery and similar crafts where there is a significant degree of hand skill at the point of manufacture.

 

With a total prize pot of £25,000, the full list of categories are as follows:

  1. Emerging Building Craftsperson of the Year
  2. Trainee of the Year
  3. Community Catalyst of the Year
  4. Lifetime Achievement
  5. Trainer of the Year
  6. Emerging Metalworker of the Year
  7. Emerging Embroiderer of the Year
  8. Emerging Stained Glass Maker of the Year
  9. Emerging Green Woodworker of the Year
  10. Emerging Weaver of the Year
  11. Emerging Upholsterer of the Year
  12. Emerging Leatherworker of the Year
  13. Woodworker of the Year
  14. Fashion Textile Maker of the Year
  15. Precious Metalworker of the Year
  16. Northern Ireland Maker of the Year
  17. Patron’s Award for Endangered Crafts
